AI Assistant
The AI Assistant is a chat that does real work in your account: describe what you want built — a campaign, a segment, scoring rules — and it lands as a draft for you to review. This guide covers access, what the assistant can operate, and the safety model.

The AI Assistant is a Business plan feature — 500 AI requests per month. On other plans the page shows an upgrade card, and the sidebar item carries a Business pill. Plan details: Billing.
The chat
Open AI Assistant in the sidebar. The layout is a familiar chat: a Sessions sidebar with New Chat, a streaming reply area with a stop button, and a composer that accepts file attachments — drop a CSV in and ask the assistant to import it. Past sessions reopen with their context intact.
A usage meter in the header shows requests used against your monthly limit and turns amber near it; at 100% the composer is replaced by a notice with the reset date.
What it can do
The assistant drives the same features documented in these guides, through a large tool set on the backend:
- Campaigns — draft sequences, configure tracking and schedules, add recipients, and report on performance.
- Contacts — search, create, update, tag, and import from an attached CSV.
- Templates — draft and update templates and generate subject-line variations.
- Newsletter — lists, subscribers, segments built from plain English, newsletter campaigns, drip sequences, and scheduling.
- Lead scoring — create scoring rules and tiers.
- Analytics & deliverability — summarize campaign and newsletter results and run domain authentication checks (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).
Prompts that work well are specific about audience and shape:
- "Draft a 3-email welcome campaign for new signups"
- "Show me my top 5 performing campaigns"
- "Build a segment of subscribers who clicked in the last 30 days but haven't purchased"
- "Import the attached CSV and tag everyone conference-2026"
Drafts by default
Campaigns, newsletters, and templates the assistant creates land in your account as drafts — nothing is sent. You review and launch them yourself from the normal pages. The exceptions to keep in mind: scheduling a newsletter or activating a drip sequence through the assistant does queue real mail, the same as doing it in the UI.
Review AI drafts the way you would a colleague's: check the recipient selection, the personalization tokens, and the pre-launch checklist before anything goes out.
