Unified Inbox
The Unified Inbox reads and answers mail from every connected, sync-capable email account in one three-pane view — so campaign replies and ordinary correspondence live in one place instead of five provider tabs.
In this guide you will:
- navigate folders, labels, and the account selector
- search with operators and act on messages in bulk
- compose, reply, and manage drafts
- understand sync timing and image blocking
The inbox requires a Professional or Business plan — lower plans see an upgrade card instead. It also only shows accounts that can sync mail: Gmail and Outlook OAuth accounts, and SMTP accounts with IMAP credentials added. See Connect email accounts.
Layout
Three resizable panes: a sidebar, the message list, and the reading pane.
- The sidebar starts with an account selector — All Accounts or a single one — a refresh button, and the orange Compose button.
- Folders are grouped as Core (Inbox, Starred, Drafts, Sent) and Management (Archive, Spam, Bin). The Inbox badge counts unread mail, and the browser tab title shows it too.
- Labelsare your own colored categories — create and edit them from the sidebar's label manager, apply them from the list or reading pane, and filter with
label:search.
The message list
Messages appear as a flat, most-recent-first list with filter tabs All mail and Unread and infinite scroll. Hovering a row reveals quick actions — star, mark read/unread, archive, delete — and selecting rows raises a bulk bar with Labels, Read, Unread, Archive, Delete, and Spam (in Bin the action becomes Restore; in Spam, Not Spam). A banner offers "Select all N emails in this folder" for cross-page selection.
Search
The search box ("Search all mail...") queries the full mailbox server-side and understands operators:

Reading and replying
- The reading pane header offers Archive, Delete, and Star; the more-options menu adds mark read/unread, Print, Manage labels, and Report spam / Not spam. An "Email Details" popover shows the full headers, and attachments are downloadable.
- Reply, Reply All, and Forwardsit at the bottom of the message. Replies honor the sender's Reply-To and carry proper threading headers, so conversations stay threaded on the recipient's side.
External images are blocked by default — a banner explains the privacy protection and a header toggle shows or hides them. The choice resets on each email.
Composing
Compose opens a Gmail-style dialog: a From selector listing your inbox-capable accounts (this is how you choose the sending identity), To with Cc/Bcc, Subject, body, and up to 10 attachments. Drafts auto-save as you type and closing a dirty composer keeps the draft; drafts reopen in the composer from the Drafts folder. The dialog can minimize or go fullscreen.
Sync behavior
- The inbox auto-syncs about every 2 minutes, and the refresh button forces a pass. Sync also runs when you switch accounts or the connection is restored.
- SMTP accounts with inbox sync enabled are polled roughly every 15 minutes — this same polling is what records bounces for those accounts.
- If an account's credentials expire, a reconnection banner appears across the app; reconnect from the Email Accounts page.
Keyboard shortcuts
Inbox settings (bottom of the sidebar) has two switches: Enable keyboard shortcuts and Vim-style navigation (j/k to move). The core shortcuts: C compose, / search, E archive, # delete, R reply, S star.
